Andrew Daff

Andrew Daff has almost twenty years' hospitality management and consultancy experience, working with resorts, boutique hotels, restaurants and catering organisations throughout Australia and is now based in Sydney, NSW.

Andrew is currently a Senior Officer with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (Department of Environment, Climate Change & Water) and is the manager responsible for the Service's Ecotourism Flagship: Lane Cove River Tourist Park.
Under his leadership since October 2005, the caravan park and camp ground at Lane Cove River Tourist Park has been transformed into Australia's leading low cost ecotourism destination.  Andrew is responsible for all business plan development and implementation, integrating business objectives with government policy, marketing, procurement and stock control as well as land management and bush regeneration.

Andrew Daff is on the board of Oz Parks, a National caravan park chain, and has developed the Green Park programme – a sustainable tourism initiative for caravan parks.  He is also the Chair of the Ryde Business Forum Tourism Committee and is responsible for an ongoing strategy to develop the City of Ryde into a sustainable tourism hub; he is a member the Sustainability Reference Group with Kuring-gai Council, Catchment Connections reference group; and on the City of Ryde/Central Darling Shire Alliance Advisory Group. 
Andrew is also a foundation member of SONIC and is often called upon to speak about sustainable business and the environment in general.
Ecotourism, water saving strategies and energy conservation are only three areas he is concentrating on at the moment.

Andrew Daff is highly respected and very well liked by his staff and has a well founded reputation for achieving difficult goals in a quick and timely fashion. The impossible takes just a little longer.
