LANE COVE RIVER TOURIST PARK

From 1st of April 2009 all kids under 11 are free on caravan, camp and campervan sites (previously the age limit was 10). And no peak rates for us either!
This is tremendous news for all families as most caravan parks charge for kids from a very young age.
I did some research and found that for a family of two adults and two kids aged 9 and 5 our rate structure would save a family about $140 for a stay of a week. That $140 would pay for quite a few show bags at the Royal Easter Show!
Mind you, I'm old enough to remember when those show bags were actually free!
The cost of the kids can add dramatically to a stay anywhere but this initiative of Lane Cove River Tourist Park will hopefully make it easier for a family to have a low cost quality holiday.
So if you are getting quotes from a caravan park remember to factor in the cost of the kids staying.
