LANE COVE RIVER TOURIST PARK
Our Eco Tourism philosophy.
Just a quick update for everyone. The team have been working tirelessly to ensure all our guests had a great time over the Christmas New Year period. We're still extremely busy but things should start to quieten down a little soon.
Many new and exciting things are planned for the coming few months or so. Anyone who has been here more than once will no doubt appreciate the efforts that have already gone into developing the great asset we have here.
With some great new National Parks initiatives coming soon, the whole team here are looking forward to these changes. A change is as good as a holiday they say!:)
Our Eco Tourism philosophy is this: Provide affordable, quality accommodation in an environment that is friendly and courteous.
Care of the environment and conservation of our natural area is still our main priority.
Rate change from 1st April 2010.
A very slight increase on site costs becomes effective from April 1, 2010.It's an evil that we can no longer afford to ignore unfortunately. The rise is to be only one dollar per site and will take the powered rate from $36.00 to $37.00. Unpowered sites will rise from $34.00 from $35.00.
Weekly discounts & seniors discounts will still apply as normal.
If you have been involved in any of our 'free' activities, like the night walks or the brand new Aboriginal Cultural Performance, you can understand that these activities need to be heavily subsidized from the existing revenue.
The objective will always be to present sustainable activities to the guests of the park but some cost recuperation is necessary so we can continue to upgrade the park in other areas.
Even if we were to disregard the above fact the cost of wages alone means that we need to move our rates up slightly.
All the facilities that are currently free (like the barbeques, tour advice, directions) will remain at no cost to guests.
Hope to see you all soon,
Keith
